Information from International Studies and ProgramsThe MSU International Studies and Programs office provides a range of opportunities and funding. These are described on the ISP web site. Social Science Research Council (SSRC)The SSRC is an independent, nongovernmental, not-for-profit, international association devoted to the advancement of interdisciplinary research in the social sciences. Grants are available for pre-doctoral studies, doctoral dissertation research, and post-doctoral studies. Many grants are available to non-U.S. citizens as well as U.S. citizens. Assistance in preparing proposals (which must be initiated well in advance of submission deadlines) is available on-campus through a group of faculty convened by CASID and the African Studies Center.
