Nicole Mason joined FSRP in 2005 as a graduate research assistant. Her current research focuses on understanding the impacts of HIV/AIDS on rural livelihoods in southern Africa. Her master’s thesis is an empirical test of the new variant famine hypothesis using nationally-representative survey data from Zambia.
