Zhengfei Guan's research interests are in the areas of finance, production and environmental economics, and applied econometrics. His current research focuses on risk and uncertainty in a structurally changing agriculture, with particular emphasis on biofuel production and climate change. His funded projects investigate farm land use decision, and investment and energy use of greenhouse firms.
