Ruthi Bloomfield is an Academic Advisor for undergraduate students in the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics. She advises students in the department’s three undergraduate majors: Food Industry Management, Agribusiness Management and Environmental Economics and Policy. Ruthi enjoys working with a diverse student population and believes that a strong student-advisor relationship is a key component to student success.
Prior to coming to MSU in 2006, Ruthi worked for nine years as a Student Support Specialist with the Women’s Resource Center at Lansing Community College. It was there she specialized in work with adult learners and the transitional issues they experience when returning to school.
