Semester in the Philippines Year 2006-2007 Timetable for Keeping on Schedule!

October-January

• Attend a Philippines program orientation meeting
• See your academic advisor to select the courses that you want to take at UPLB
• Begin the process of completing your Guest Course Approval Form.
• Meet with Rick Bernsten to explore internship opportunities

February-

• Submit your program application to the Office of Study Abroad by February 1.
• Be interviewed by the Philippine program selection committee. You will be notified regarding your acceptance in the program in late February.

March-

• Submit your scholarship application to the Office of Study Abroad by March 1.
• Submit your Request for Enrollment in UPLB Courses to the Office of Study Abroad by March 1.
• Submit your UPLB Housing Application to the Office of Study Abroad by March 1.
• Apply for a US passport

April-

• Visit the Olin Health Center for your international travel orientation

June -

• Travel to the Philippines. Plan to arrive at UPLB by June 1.
• Participate in UPLB's Foreign Student Orientation and Convocation (early June)
• Beginning of classes at UPLB (mid-June)

October -

• Last day of classes (early-October)
• Final exam period (mid-October)
