Larry Hamm is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Michigan State University. Professor Hamm's main assignment is teaching in both the Agribusiness Management (ABM) and Food Industry Management (FIM) undergraduate majors where he teaches the ABM 439 and FIM 439 senior capstone courses. He also currently teaches ABM 422, Vertical Coordination in the Agri-Food System. Research interests are on the dynamics of changing global food system economics. Current focus is on the roles played by alternative (food service, e-commerce, general non-durable retailing, etc.) distribution and supply channels for food.
