ADELAJA KEYNOTES NATIONAL FORUM
MSU Ag. Economics faculty member Soji Adelaja was the keynote speaker at a national land use forum organized by the Farm Foundation in Washington DC on December 11. 

THESIS AWARD
Nigel Griswold, who completed his M.S. in Agricultural Economics in 2006, has received the National Center for Smart Growth Best Thesis Award. Nigel’s advisor was Pat Norris. The title of his thesis was “The Impacts of Tax-Foreclosed Properties and Land Bank Programs on Residential Housing Values in Flint, Michigan.” This competitive award comes with a $1,000 prize. Nigel’s research was supported by The Land Policy Institute, The Genesee Institute, and the Elton R. Smith Endowment.
