DISSERTATION AWARD
Dr. Rui M.S. Benfica, now the chief poverty economist for the World Bank in Maputo, Mozambique, received the Gill-Chin Award for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation in Global Studies. Dr. David Tschirley, was his major professor.

PUBLICATIONS
Jake Ferris and Satish V. Joshi, presented a paper, “Agriculture as a Source of Fuel—Prospects and Impacts, 2007 to 2017,” at a Biofuels, Food & Feed Tradeoffs Conference.
