NEW MAIL SYSTEM
CANR has a new email and calendar system for the entire college. About 20 Ag Econ faculty and staff are already using it, and we are now expanding its availability to the rest of the department. You can see a list of some of the advantages of the new system at: http://support.anr.msu.edu/exchange/advantages.asp
To set you up on the College server, we need to move your mail from Eudora to Microsoft Outlook 2003, a process which typically takes 30 to 90 minutes depending on how much mail you have. Your computer will be busy with the conversion during this time and shouldn't be used for anything else. I will need for you to be present for a few minutes at the beginning of the conversion, because part of the process requires you to type in your MSU and ANR passwords.
If you are ready to switch to the new system, please reply to let me know so I can start scheduling the work. Thanks.-- Chris Wolf, Computer Service Manager
