AG EXPO BREAKFAST

Arrive early to prevent congestion from 7:30-8 am. The program starts at 7:50 am and ends by 9 am. More than 300 commercial exhibitors have registered to-date making this the largest Farm Show in Michigan.

AG EXPO 2006
The Land Policy Institute is joining forces with the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) to expand our Ag Expo presence. This years Ag Expo will be held on MSUs campus from July 18-20. The CANR Tent will feature groups from across the College, including LPI, Citizen Planner, and the MSU Diary Store, as well as Michigan 4-H, Entomology, Integrative Pest Management and many others. The theme, CANR: Can you Believe It? in the style of Ripley’s Believe it or Not, will entice Expo goers to the tent to learn more about things that they could never have imagined. There will be speakers on three stages, food preparation demonstrations, music, magic and many other exciting, educational, and fun opportunities for the family in the CANR Tent. The NEW DAIRY STORE
The Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition is excited to announce the addition of a second location for the MSU Dairy Store in the MSU Union. The new location, just inside the East Entrance, features: 12 flavors of MSU Dairy Plant ice cream served in a dish or cake, sugar or freshly baked, waffle cones; Shakes and Sundaes; The famous MSU Dairy Store grilled cheese sandwich (weekdays only!); MSU Dairy Plant Cheeses and Ice Cream in take-home packages.
Exploration Days
June 21-23, MSU plays hosts to more than 2,500 4-Hers during the annual Exploration Days, giving them access to nearly 200 fun, action-filled classroom and field trip sessions. This annual event attracts 11- to 18-year-old students from all 83 Michigan counties.
Grandparents University
When the folks in External Relations starting talking about Grandparents University, it sounded like a fun way to get young people and their grandparents here to campus. Thanks to Kathryn Reed, assistant director of alumni relations and special events, GPU sold out quickly. People from 14 states will be on campus June 29 - July 1 to take part in this program, which allows them to share a hands-on learning experience from world-class MSU faculty and staff members in the science-based areas of communities, agriculture and natural resources.
MUELDER SUMMER CARILLON SERIES
The MSU School of Music will present its 2006 Muelder Summer Carillon Series for five consecutive Wednesdays beginning June 28 at Beaumont Tower.
All recitals, which begin at 6 pm., are free and open to the public; those who attend are welcome to bring a picnic and take a tour of Beaumont Tower after each performance.

CLEMSON UNIVERSITY seeks for a Research Associate in Community and Econ. Development, Dept of Applied Econ. & Statistics; full-time for 12 months per year and grant funding is for three years, with the possibility of extended funding.
